The Rancocas Valley Singers

Established 2015

The Rancocas Valley Singers strive to utilize the power of music to bring together audiences and performers in joyful, meaningful, shared musical experiences of high artistic quality and entertaining content.  We energetically embrace diversity in our membership, audience and performance partners, and our concert venues, which take us throughout Burlington County and beyond.

Our auditioned SATB ensemble rehearses and presents a wide range of musical styles and genres. The Rancocas Valley Singers welcome formal and informal concerts and well as collaborative opportunities with other community-minded individuals and arts organizations.

The Rancocas Valley Singers are looking for members to join our experienced community choir. New members will be added based on their audition, as well as the balance their voice would create within the ensemble, or the need for specific voice parts. For example, someone could have a stellar audition, but if they are strictly a Soprano I and there are already enough Soprano I’s, they may not be admitted to the group this season. We are looking for voices that blend well in a choral ensemble, people who will work with the directors and sections to benefit the group, and dedicated members who simply LOVE to sing. If interested, please contact us at

Auditions for the Rancocas Valley Singers shall consist of the following elements:

-Vocalizing in a key appropriate to the singer

-A short excerpt, sung acapella, of a well-known folk or patriotic song. Examples include (but aren’t limited to) “The Star Spangled Banner”, “God Bless America”, and “Take Me Out to the Ball Game”.

-Light Sight Reading

-Harmonizing and holding your part against other singers, at the discretion of the auditioners.
